Coloring – Kevin Garrett

Here is a little something different from Pittsburgh singer/songwriter Kevin Garrett. I could try to explain this song to you beforehand, but sometimes music can speak to each of us differently, and this is definitely one of those times. In a recent interview Kevin talks about coloring and says

“Coloring’ is about confronting something that will shatter as soon as you touch it.”

“When I wrote Coloring I was in the middle of something and it was good, but I could see it all about to fall apart. So I wanted to touch on how it’s difficult to let your guard down.”

Definitely music for thought! As a matter of fact I’m still thinking about it…
