“6 God” + “Heat Of The Moment” + “How Bout Now” – Drake

This past Friday marked the 28^th birthday of Mr.OVO, and it appears he was in a giving mood! Drake dropped 3 great new tracks that feature production from some Drake favorites, Boi-1da, “40”, and Jordan Evans. Each song is really different, but they each feature some classic Drake. “6 God” is very similar to what we saw on his most recent project Nothing Was The Same; while “Heat Of The Moment” and “How Bout Now” are more similar to “Take Care”. Hopefully these songs are a preview of his upcoming album “Views from the 6”.

Drake definitely made this drop very clear via Twitter when he said:

That wasn’t an EP. Just 3 songs that I knew some hackers had. But enjoy! Back to this album.

So, I don’t know if we should be thanking the hackers or Drake more, but either way we got some new Drake!

Now in light of Tyga‘s recent interview with Vibe Magazine, some people are saying “6 God” is a shot at Tyga and his camp.

Tyga spoke very candidly about drake saying

“I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people.”
