Miracles – Coldplay

Well, although today sucked for me personally, and we haven’t posted in a while because of finals, new Coldplay will always get me to post!

This upbeat, great song is titled “Miracles” and is on the soundtrack to the neat-looking upcoming movie Unbroken, which comes out Christmas day, and stars the awesome English actor Jack O’Connell (whom you might, nay, should recognize as Cook from Skins! — If you don’t, you should really look into that TV series, it’s phenomenal!).

Coldplay is also working on their post-Ghost Stories album, which they revealed to be titled “A Head Full Of Dreams” on a Zane Lowe BBC Radio 1 broadcast back on December 4th!

I’d be really happy if they continue in the direction of this awesome sound! Frontman Chris Martin said of the new album: “It’s our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it’s like the last Harry Potter book or something like that.” This has led to blogs all over the internet stating that it’s going to be Coldplay’s “last album”, but Chris himself hinted at that not necessarily being the case, but simply that the next album was the end of a “chapter”. So I’m optimistic we’ll be seeing more Coldplay down the road!
